**DIGITAL MEDIA SPECIALIST**
**EMPLOYMENT STATUS**:5 positions -Kitchener Location, 16 WEEK Summer Placement***

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Digital Media Specialist with a keen interest in video editing, document branding and development of marketing materials.

We are in the process of launching a new software company, AONest, Inc. to deliver a web-based self-guided software system for mental health management and outcomes. AONest users will follow unique learning pathways to navigate their mental health concerns and gain essential life skills. The system will contain hundreds of learning modules (made up of videos and worksheets) and we are looking for a strong Digital Media Specialist to help us ensure our content is:

- Branded in accordance with corporate design guidelines and is,
- Visually compelling

**HOURS/WEEK**: 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday 8am-4pm***
Anishnabeg Outreach is a large and rapidly expanding Indigenous non-profit and charity organization. We are dedicated to the enrichment of the Indigenous community through the development of many partnerships. Through our work, we foster belonging and spirit building, and dedicate ourselves to building a healthy and vibrant Indigenous community every day.

To help First Nations, Metis and Inuit by creating a sustainable and comprehensive suite of centralized wrap around services for urban FNMI and to establish Anishnabeg Outreach as an innovative hub/heart of best practices for economic development, training and employment on reserves.

**ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS**
These positions are funded by the Canada Summer Jobs fund. In order to be considered for this job you must:

- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment;
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment; and,
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Canva for document and presentation branding,
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Experience in basic video editing.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management and multitasking within a dynamic environment.

**PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES**
- **Create branded presentation slides in Canva**: Add existing content into Canva templates and create visually-appealing presentation slide layouts that follow corporate guidelines.
- **Perform the final review on branded Canva files**: Review completed presentations to ensure they are error-free and are branded correctly (logo, colour scheme, copyright, formatting, etc.).
- **Video Editing**: take final presentations and final voice over clips, follow existing process to edit the video and upload it to AONest
- Ensure compliance of all AO policies and procedures
- Complete other duties as assigned and directed
