Surrey, Canada Earls Marine Closures and Services Ltd. Full time

Earls Marine Closures and Services is a family-owned marine closure manufacturer located in the Port Kells area of Surrey. We have a focus on the marine industry, both locally and internationally. We manufacture in our heated shop, complete site work locally performing maintenance or installing our product and we work internationally aboard vessels around the world. We are looking for reliable, hardworking and self-motivated individuals to join our team.

1. Knowledge of metal shop tools and safe work practices.

2. Must be reliable, Self-motivated and a critical thinker.

3. Excellent communication skills

4. Excellent verbal command of the English language

5. Team player.

6. Attention to detail.

7. A valid Forklift License and first aid certificate would be an asset.

8. Must have valid documentation to work in Canada.

9. Must have a valid Driver’s License

Here are some of the main activities and tasks that our General Laboure’s are required to perform, and some of the physical demands they involve:

- Read and interpret work orders.
- Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials.
- Clean work areas and equipment.
- Load and unload vehicles using forklift, hand truck or dolly.
- May cut or grind metal products using hand tools.
- Building crates for outgoing shipments.

Physical demands

1. Handling material manually
- Standing
- Bending or twisting the body
- Making repetitive motions
- Walking and running

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
