**Job Description - Audio Visual Installation Technician with Programming Experience**:
AV Works is an established Audio-Visual company based in St. Albert, and services the surrounding region. We are looking for an Experienced, Skilled, Friendly and Customer focused Installation Technician with a working knowledge of Control4 &/or Lutron. Must live in or near Edmonton. Experience with Clare Controls considered a bonus.

**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
**Experience**:

- 3+ years AV installation experience.
- Knowledge of complex wiring configurations with / or signal flow for audio, video, control and networks.
- Must be familiar with construction sites.
- Field support - diagnosis, installations, and repairs.
- Reading plans and blueprints.
- Programming - working knowledge of Control4 and / or Lutron

**Role competencies and expectations**:

- Provide excellent service to meet client expectations.
- Install, setup and provide training on equipment for clients.
- Perform equipment additions, removals, repairs, replacements and inspections.
- Troubleshooting, quality checks, problem solving and repairing equipment as needed.
- Complete scheduled work accurately and timely.
- Technically competent, excellent time management skills.
- Flexible, organized, reliable, and always on time.
- Report writing and task tracking. ie fill out and complete Jobber.
- Measuring and drilling locations for display mounts / speakers / cameras.
- Perform work assignments in a safe manner and within specified cost / time limits.
- Promote, build, and maintain good customer relations.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic to intermediate computer proficiency.
- Knowledge of a/v control platforms and remote controls.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems preferred
- A thorough knowledge and understanding of Audio Visual systems
- IP Video and IT experience preferred

**Eligibility Requirements**:

- CTS Training
- Current Drivers Abstract
- Criminal Background Check
- Unrestricted authorization to work in Canada
- **Must have** programming experience in Control4 or Lutron or both
- Provide own basic tools
- Currently live within 50 kms of Edmonton
- **Must** speak, read, write and understand English fluently

**Pay** is based on experience and skill set. Starting wage range: $24.00 - 30.00 / hr.

**Job Type**: Full-time **Schedule**: 8 hour shift Mon - Fri, 9:00 - 5:00

**Note**: AV Works is a smoke free Workplace
