Ecolab Canada is currently seeking a **contract** Mailroom Specialist/Receptionist within our Nalco Water division. In this contract position, you will be responsible to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Burlington facility mailroom and print shop plus provide reception support.

**What You Will Do**:

- Printing Product Labels, Bulk Tank Labels, Fill Line Labels etc. as well as various materials for other departments.
- Laminating jobs - labels, SDS, signs, etc.
- Printing/Binding Manuals.
- Ordering paper, toner, etc. for copiers/printers; ordering bulk label supplies as needed.
- Keeping track of copier count for invoice purposes.
- Opening mail for distribution and ensuring all incoming/outgoing mail slots and mailroom lists are current.
- Preparing manifests/bills of lading for courier shipments and completing daily log.
- Tracing delayed courier shipments as required.
- Sorting and metering all outgoing mail on mailing machine.
- Maintaining stock level of supplies - i.e. envelopes, pre-printed labels, forms, postage & miscellaneous mailroom supplies.
- Completing mailroom reports and invoices.
- Reception duties including greeting visitors, ensuring security measures are followed, handling switchboard and incoming telephone calls, and taking messages as appropriate.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Completion of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
- Good keyboarding and computer skills.
- No immigration sponsorship available for this position.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Mailroom, print shop and/or reception experience would be an asset.
- Experience in a business environment with sensitivity to confidential needs.

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Proficient interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills with a customer service focus.
- Adaptable and able to respond to “urgent” requests and changing priorities.
- Good time management skills and the ability to multitask.
- Precise attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and with sensitive or confidential information.

**Contract Details**:

- This is a 12-month contract.
- Hours of work are 40 hours/week with a flexible schedule to be finalized.
