**About the Role**:
As a TestFly Video Games Tester, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and performance of our video games across multiple platforms including consoles, online, and mobile devices. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about video games, attentive to detail, and driven to improve product quality through effective testing and feedback.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Execute test plans and test cases to identify bugs and glitches in video game titles on consoles, online platforms, and mobile devices.
- Collaborate with development teams to report on defects and follow through on resolutions to ensure timely completion within production timelines.
- Utilize both hardware and software to perform stability and performance tests.
- Engage in gameplay to understand the user experience and identify any potential issues with game mechanics, graphics, and overall design.
- Verify fixes applied by development teams and perform regression testing.
- Document testing phases and defects effectively in a bug-tracking system.
- Assist in developing and refining our QA testing processes to improve efficiency and efficacy.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools, methodologies, and industry trends.
- Provide feedback to developers regarding game features and user experiences.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss findings and updates on project progress.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Video Games Tester or similar role.
- Familiarity with console gaming systems (e.g., Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo), mobile devices, PCs, and online gaming environments.
- Strong understanding of game design, gameplay elements, and user-interface design.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to remain focused on tasks for long periods.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly articulate defects and interact with development teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in game development, computer science, or relevant field is a plus.
- Must be available for day shifts and evening shifts.

**Preferred Skills**:

- A passion for gaming across multiple platforms with diverse gaming interests.
- Experience with automation tools and scripting languages is a plus.
- Knowledge of network and server issues related to online gaming.
- Familiarity with performance metrics and standards in mobile gaming.

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
