**Position Summary**
As a Project Manager at Ferrow Real Estate, you will work closely with our Development Manager to ensure the seamless execution of our development real estate projects. This role focuses on project management, operations, and administrative tasks to keep our projects on track, on budget, and on schedule.
**Responsibilities**
Real Estate Project Support (40%)
- Assist in engaging and negotiating consultant contracts for sales and marketing.
- Collaborate with the Development Manager to facilitate weekly or bi-weekly meetings with consultants, track and issue meeting minutes, and follow up with consultants to ensure deliverables are met.
- Support in managing consultants for the preparation of studies and reports required for each stage of project submission.
- Assist the acquisitions team in the analysis of real estate opportunities.
Operations Support (30%)
- Assist in coordinating design details of suite plans, amenities, and interior finish packages based on budget and market demands.
- Collaborate with the Development Manager, sales, and marketing teams for the review and sign-off of suite plans, amenities, and interior finishes.
- Provide assistance in creating detailed schedules necessary for a successful sales launch.
- Work with external consultants to provide the Operations Manager with exterior and interior renderings to support successful marketing campaigns.
- Aid in the facilitation of all drawing coordination meetings with consultants and staff for accuracy, review, and project timelines.
Administrative Support (30%)
- Facilitate and participate in weekly internal project meetings focused on project launches for sales and marketing, internal meetings, and interactions with external development clients.
- Provide support in project management activities as directed by the Development Manager.
- Set up and maintain project folders for file storage management for sales and marketing.
**Qualifications**
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
- 3-5 years of experience in real estate development minimum required.
- Valid G drivers licence is required.
- University degree or diploma in Finance, Real Estate, Land Economics or other related education is preferred.
- Strategic thinker, able to attend to details while keeping big-picture goals in mind.
- Proficient in creating project plans and deliverables for accuracy and timelines.
- Able to understand, interpret, and translate complex and technical concepts and ideas through written and verbal communication.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills used to communicate strategic project objectives.
- Highly organized and able to multitask to manage diverse workloads of oneself and other team members with competing timelines.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment with limited guidance.
- Strong ability to review work done by others to ensure accuracy or assumptions.
- Firm knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Able to be flexible and adapt to a fast-paced working environment.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Acrobat, Bluebeam and PowerPoint
- Willingness to travel to construction sites and consultant offices.
