We're rapidly growing and looking for a Yard Supervisor in Mitchell who is a natural leader with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Reporting to the Store Manager, the Yard Supervisor will be responsible for all yard activities, from managing yard employees and equipment to coordinating deliveries and ensuring top-notch customer service. **Responsibilities Include**:

- Leading and developing yard associates and delivery drivers
- Managing yard inventory, receiving, and stocking
- Upholding and supporting safety standards in the yard
- Maintaining equipment and vehicle maintenance records
- Supervising yard inventory counts and maintaining paperwork accuracy
- Coordinating delivery orders
- Managing yard organization and cleanliness
- Developing staff schedules for efficient yard operations

**Qualifications**:

- Leadership experience in lumber yard or customer service in a related industry
- Valid Forklift Certification
- Strong customer focus
- Advanced product knowledge in Lumber Building Materials industry
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Safety-conscious and committed to a safe work environment

**Work Conditions**:

- Ability to lift 50lb to 80lbs.
- Frequent standing, bending, and lifting.
- Exposure to varying outdoor temperatures.
- Ability to travel to as required
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
