Bovine Ivf Technician

IVF Lab Technician Responsibilities:

- Oocyte searching and grading for maturation.
- Culture dish preparation
- Semen preparation for In Vitro Fertilization
- Fertilization of oocytes
- Embryo stripping and culture
- Assist in maintaining semen and embryo inventory.
- Embryo grading and preparation for fresh transfer
- Embryo Freezing
- Maintain accurate embryo production reports
- Record Keeping and data entry
- Assist in quality control and lab cleanliness
- Supply inventory management
- Maintain good laboratory technique and follow protocols

Education and Qualifications/ Skills Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in animal science, biology or related field or veterinary technician
- At least 1 year experience with basic laboratory skills is preferred (pipetting, microscopy, centrifugation)
- Very strong attention to detail
- Ability to work at a microscope for long periods of time
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Effective communication skills

**Salary**: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
