Dog Groomer

Necessary skills for this position:
Ability to perform breed standard grooms

Skills in scissoring

Nail trimming and anal gland expression

Minimum one-year experience. Grooming diploma/certificate is an asset

Clinical experience is an asset

Knowledge of shampoo therapy

Comfortable working with dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds and dispositions

Perform grooming services as per customer instructions

Ensure the safety and well-being of animals

Be capable of standing, bending, kneeling, crouching and reaching all day

Lift up to 50lbs

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
