Early Childhood Assistant Professor

Evergreen College is seeking to hire an experienced Child Care professional who is passionate about teaching adults and has the ability to effectively teach the Early Childhood Assistant curriculum.

The instructional style should have a strong delivery in order to inspire and motivate our students. Have a strong handle on how to approach teaching adults from different cultural backgrounds, various levels of education and career experience.

Effective classroom management is essential while encouraging and sustaining a positive learning environment.

Remain in-line with our campus culture of preparing employable graduates for the Canadian workplace environment.

Demonstrate an optimistic outlook towards newcomers and possible academic and/or interpersonal barriers.

Proactively identify and remedy weaknesses in students with support from the Evergreen team when required.

**Experience**:

- Licensed Child Care: 2 years (required)
- Teaching Adults: 2 years (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Location**:

- Toronto, ON

Licence:

- Early Childcare Educator - ECE (required)

**Language**:

- Fluent in English (required)
