**Job Summary**:
The Philanthropy Manager plays a vital role in annual fundraising targets to support Hope’s Home centers across the province. The Philanthropy Manager reports to the Provincial Philanthropy Manager and has no direct reports. This position successfully implements annual fundraising campaigns, manages events, and represents Hope’s Home within their region. Skilled in relationship management, the Philanthropy Manager will identify, cultivate, and secure gifts for Hope’s Home by building a network of personal and professional relationships to meet fundraising goals. This includes maintaining a portfolio of existing sponsors, donors, and volunteers to ensure year-round fundraising opportunities. Through teamwork, collaboration, and a passion for making a difference the Philanthropy Manager will represent and uphold the vision, purpose, and values of Hope’s Home.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify, cultivate, and secure gifts from prospective donors and sponsors.
- Lead and execute annual fundraising campaigns throughout the province.
- Lead annual Hope’s Home events and manage all aspects from pre-event planning stages to post-event follow up. Team collaboration and coordination of volunteer committees is required.
- Create detailed work plans, schedules and timelines for all programs, events and fundraising campaigns assigned.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality proposals.
- Execute and meet the goals of fundraising budgets.
- Follow donor recognition guidelines.
- Other duties.

**Qualifications**:

- Post secondary degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Fundraising.
- 3 to 4 years of experience in a fundraising or sales-based role.
- 2 to 3 years of experience planning and managing events.
- Experience cultivating and securing gifts and donations.
- Knowledge and understanding of non-profit business model.
- Non-profit certificates or education an asset.
- Being well-connected in the community an asset.
- Valid drivers' license.

**Salary**: $54,655.00-$73,945.00 per year
