We are seeking a BIM Coordinator to join our team
Position Summary
Working in a collaborative, innovative, fast-paced environment, the Virtual Design & Construction Coordinator - is responsible for assisting the Digital Team on multiple projects throughout pre-construction and construction phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Pre-Construction BIM team with BIM requirements for tender submissions
- Assist Digital Construction Specialists and Pre-Construction team in developing site logistics and construction methodology in Revit
- Assist Digital Construction Specialists with generating BIM processes and templates for BIM delivery across the business
- Prepare BIM scope of work documents for subcontractors
- Responsible converting 2D drawings to MEP 3D Revit models
- Responsible converting site, architectural and structural 2D drawings to 3D Revit models
- Prepare presentations and model visuals for internal and external presentations
- Assist Digital Construction Specialist in preparing 4D-6D models. Schedule, Cost, and Sustainability Models.
- Create federated Navisworks files, run and publish Navisworks clash detection data for the project team.
- Utilize BIM/ VDC tools and platforms for BIM coordination.
- Collaborate with VDC Leadership team to build a BIM Execution Plan and VDC implementation strategy.
- Be part of a project team working with project managers, superintendents, and engineers on-site.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree from accredited and credentialed degree program in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or Building Construction
- At least 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Completion of a degree or diploma training program at a college or technical school specializing in BIM.

**Required Skills**:

- Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD, Fuzor is an asset
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings
- Excellent organizational, prioritization and follow-up skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills, personable and friendly
- Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Strong attention to accuracy and detail
- Able to work at a fast pace with conflicting deadlines and changing priorities
- BIM-related training or certifications considered an asset (Building Transformations, BuildingSMART)

Work Environment
- May require some on-site visits to project locations with mínimal possibility of exposure to hazardous materials
