Capstone currently owns and operates an approximate net installed capacity of more than 824 megawatts across 31 facilities in Canada, including wind, hydro, solar, biomass and natural gas power plants.

Capstone is seeking to fill a Junior System Administrator
** **position in our Toronto office. The role will be based primarily in the Toronto office, working closely with Capstone’s IT support company, GenieAll, and reporting to Capstone’s IT System Administrator. This position will assist with day-to-day helpdesk support, including but not limited to user management, IT Onboarding, password resets, software support, and printer support. The position will also be supporting the execution and coordination of current IT and Cyber Security initiatives. You will work alongside a team of approximately 60 staff at head office in Toronto’s business district and an additional 100 employees across our Canadian businesses.

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- Work cohesively with Capstone’s third-party IT Support provider, GenieAll, to resolve all IT issues and requests and facilitate the effective delivery of projects.

**Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience**:

- Related technical diploma, degree, or certificate.
- Two years of work experience would be preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server environments will be an asset.
- Basic networking skills (LAN/WAN, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) are an asset.
- Strong proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with strong written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, personable and able to build harmonious working relationships with colleagues and IT Support providers.
- A team player displaying a “can-do” attitude and great energy.
