**Purpose of Role**:
Kinross is looking for a university student to assist the HR Operations department during the summer of 2024.

**Responsibilities**:

- Handle routine and straightforward administrative duties such as; data entry, filing and preparing employment confirmation letters
- Assist in benefit administration and data audits, as directed
- Assist with the onboarding and offboarding process; submit IT tickets, use templates to prepare letters
- Prepare presentations, spreadsheets and other materials to be used within the department or shared with senior management
- Assist with non-routine administrative projects as needed, such as streamlining automated processes and updating the Canada HR home page
- Maintain HR electronic & physical filing systems

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Education and Experience**
- 2nd or 3rd year Business or Human Resources student
- Previous intern or volunteer experience in HR is considered an asset

**Skills**
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to perform well independently as well as on a team
- Superior analytical skills in excel, and great attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
