Production Coordinator + Fit/spec

We are currently looking for a knowledgeable Production Coordinator with Fit & Spec experience. As part of a small company, your work will be key in the ongoing development of the _**PRAISE**_ mission through and through.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Maintain daily correspondence with vendors

Ensure that all customer orders are processed effectively and follow-ups are done in a timely manner

Support teams in tracking production deliverables by upholding expectations and coordination between all departments involved

Update internal templates to clearly asses status of production

Anticipate risks and put action plans in place to overcome them

Participate in the determination of deliverables, quality objectives and milestones.

Measure and review all fit samples, prior to fittings, to ensure the samples match our requirements

Lead the fit sessions on model and suggest improvement to the fit, workmanship or construction.

Troubleshoot fit, construction, and fabric issues as they arise, as well as anticipate potential production problems.

Ensure suppliers properly execute fit corrections and changes for the next stage of the process according to company standards.

Manage sample approvals for fit and workmanship.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- 3-5 years of experience in an equivalent or similar capacity
- Degree in Design Fashion required
- Understanding of all categories - knit, woven, outerwear
- Excellent pattern making knowledge
- Knowledge of active and sportswear fabrics a plus
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Experience in developing overseas production
- Excellent time management and project planning abilities
- Decision making skills along with problem solving skills
- Effective communication skills; written, verbal in addition to listening skills
- Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude
- Ability to manage busy work load with tight deadlines
- Positive attitude, team player, and great enthusiasm
- Ability to receive and communicate feedback effectively
- French and English, written and spoken
