**As a Reference Interviewer**, you will conduct telephone interviews and write stellar reports that provide employers the background information they need for potential hires. When assigned a file, your days will look like this; scheduling calls with references, conducting in depth interviews, writing reports that will knock our client's socks off and all within a reasonable deadline. In this role it is paramount that you are able to quickly foster a friendly but professional atmosphere, listen actively and direct conversations to desired topics and insights, take careful and insightful notes during a conversation and produce objective, high-quality reports from your conversations.

**What you bring to the role** is excellent English verbal and written communication skills. You work exceptionally well independently, which means you are highly organized, able to meet deadlines and you are skilled in using Word to create those amazing reports. In order to achieve this, a quiet, private workspace is a must along with a computer loaded with Office products, phone and reliable high-speed internet.

Be aware that this is not your average 9 to 5 job, although you will need to be ready to hit the ground running at any given time during business hours. This is an open contract and you will be self employed. Since the workload will vary from week to week, this job is ideal for someone looking for occasional income.
