Business Development
- Work with Sales Manager and Account Executives in developing strategies to enter into new markets and/or industries, developing proposals, sales strategies and tactics as required to close new business.
- Make initial contact with leads, introduce the product or service, and schedule meetings or demos for the AE. Follow up with leads to nurture relationships, address questions or concerns, and move them through the sales funnel.
- Support Account Executives for new RFQ’s, Quotes to clients, Amendments and Acquire required documents from clients.
- Track Quotes via CRM system, follow up to close open Quotes
Sales
- Participate and support the development of the annual sales plan by region, setting revenue targets and other sales metrics.
- Grow the client base through the systematic solicitation, qualification, quotation and contracting process.
- Investigate and pursue all opportunities to expand the services and programs offered to current client base.
- Identify potential new clients within existing markets, develop strategies to win their business, develop sales pitches accordingly.
- Negotiate contracts and rates with existing and new clients.
- Respond to client inquiries quickly and efficiently for RFQ’s and collecting client information for future follow-up.
- Follow up with clients on the delivery of services and programs to ensure client satisfaction.
- Provide administrative support to AE's by scheduling meetings, coordinating logistics for sales presentations or events, and managing calendars and appointments. They can also collaborate with other teams, such as marketing and customer support, to address customer needs and facilitate a seamless sales process.
- Responsible quoting ISO Amendments, and other Codes and Standards
Promotions
- Conduct presentations, and seminars, attend trade shows to promote and build awareness of our services and products.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the welding community through building relationships with key associations and consultant practices.
- Advocate on behalf of the CWB Group, clearly communicating value of CWB programs and services.
- Management of Product and Customer Service Delivery:
- Providing registration, and education services as required in a professional and effective manner in accordance with the company’s guidelines.

Administrative
- Ensure that all prospect interactions and relevant information are accurately recorded in the CRM system. This includes updating contact details, recording communication history, and tracking the status of leads, opportunities, and deals
- Follow up on open opportunities entered in CRM and quotes sent to potential
- Submit regional monthly activity and sales
- Engage in monthly/quarterly Sales Department conference calls.
- On occasion, attend Business Unit meetings to keep up to date on new opportunities.
Other duties as assigned.
In this position, you will report to the Business Development and Sales Manager and will be working remotely from your home office in Canada. CWB has adopted a remote-first working model, where employees will work from their home office, servicing the client within their specified areas either remotely or in person. **What you bring to the table**:
- Bilingualism in English and French (proficient in reading, writing & speaking required)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong presentation and analytical skills
- Post-Secondary Education in Business, Sales and Marketing or
- Equivalent working experience, knowledge of Welding certification standards and ISO Quality standards.
- 5 Years of progressive Sales Experience
- Inside Sales and/or business development.
