**Compensation - On Target Earnings: $110,000 to $125,000 based on experience, inclusive of salary and commissions earned; commissions have no cap.**

**The Role**

The Strategic Business Manager (SBM) is responsible for increasing the Chemsyn footprint by acquiring key accounts, chain accounts and national accounts. The SBM is a champion for the Chemsyn brand internally and externally of the organization promoting Chemsyn as a valued partner in solving real problems and providing a cohesive approach to winning our customers’ business and loyalty.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from the first contact until you close the deal. You will also ensure proper after-sales service. This role is hybrid as it is based out in our head office location, with occasional travel on the road local within the GTA.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
- Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Ability and confidence to provide sales presentations, negotiations and proposals to potential clients, addressing their specific needs and demonstrating the value of our team and services.
- Work closely with the operations team to effectively on-board new customers and exceed their expectations.
- Stay updated with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
- Utilize various lead management and CRM tools to populate and manage information
- Support Customer Marketing Team in developing customized programs, strategies and tactical marketing/sales initiatives
- Responsible for managing the monthly and quarterly performance reviews with the key accounts as required
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints
- Participate in trade shows, conventions, and sales meetings;
- Gather market intelligence.

**Job Qualifications**
- College Diploma or University Degree in Business or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Field Sales experience with related industry experience an asset but not essential
- Demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Strong presentation skills to champion Key Account pitches
- Ability to interact professionally with senior levels, C-Suite representatives of Key Accounts
- Strong project management and organization skills to manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in using a computer, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Able to communicate effectively (both written and verbal)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Accountable and dependable
- Able to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality of work
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
- Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic
