Medical Receptionist - Temporary Full Time for approximately three (3) months

Karim Dharssi Medical Professional Corporation

KDMPC is a team-based Primary Care Medical Practice with an innovative office flow and dynamic interdisciplinary health care team. Our team includes Dr. Karim Dharssi, Family Physician; Nurses; Medical Assistants, Receptionists, I.T. specialist, and Executive administrative support.

The Receptionist will assist the team to ensure efficient patient flow and exemplary care. Responsibilities include interacting with patients, managing appointment schedules, and various administrative duties that require strong computer and organizational skills.

**Must haves**:

- An interest in people and a genuine interest in helping others. A customer service background would be helpful.
- A background in medical reception, especially in a multi-disciplinary medical practice,
- Must be mature and dependable
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort with a constantly changing environment.
- Exemplary time management skills
- Excellent and adaptable computer skills. Experience with PS Suite.
- High-level organizational skills, with proven experience with multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks in a busy environment.
- Effective interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Enthusiasm about our practice and unique approach to wellness. Ability to become a great clinic ambassador, with your heart and both feet in the job.

Qualifications:

- Medical Office Administration certificate/diploma or equivalent experience is considered an asset
- 1- 3 years of medical office experience is considered an asset

Schedule: Monday - Friday, No weekends

Start date - As soon as possible

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: From $24.19 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
