**Reports to**: Director, New Services & Operations Enablement
**Purpose of the Role** This is an integral role focused on installing a new national discipline with higher levels of transparency and aligned actions across teams participating in Customer Delivery Optimization activities. The role will span across LifeLabs’ private and publicly funded business with the objective of developing and implementing LifeLabs’ multi-channel planning strategy.
This role reports directly to Director, New Services & Operations Enablement in support of the corporate strategy. This person will work closely with internal and external stakeholders nationally and ensure effective cross-functional collaboration and alignment with internal partners including Business Development, Market Share & Business Growth, Client Services, Real Estate, and Finance. Flexibility and creativity are critical to allow for changes in focus, to identify and build on strategic partnerships to evolve our service delivery model, and to ensure alignment with pan-organizational strategic priorities.
**Core Accountabilities**
**Strategic Planning, Research & Forsight**
- Define and lead short and long term strategy at a program level for Customer Delivery Optimization across all revenue channels in a way that meets and exceeds customer needs and is aligned with our overall corporate growth strategies
- Contribute to the development of plausible and challenging future scenarios that help the executive team think 5-10 years ahead in long-range strategic planning and development of a channel mix (physical, mobile, virtual) strategy
- Lead and support ad-hoc analytics and decision support activity for consumption by senior executives and Board
- Measure, monitor and evaluate the impact of the initiatives, make adjustments and incorporate new market, customer and internal insights as needed
- Conduct primary and secondary research related to potential growth opportunities and actionable implementation plans
- Based on input from Real Estate, Construction, Market share and client services groups, lead and facilitate the catchment area reviews for proactive and reactive business opportunities
- Develop a model for planning and evaluation for mobile services growth opportunities
**Program management and Data analytics**
- Support the Senior Leadership and business units in effectively leading initiatives and activities related to the development and implementation of organizational growth strategies.
- Lead business case and financial analysis activities of new business oppopruntites to grow and protect market share
- Coach team members on effective utilization of spatial analytics and GIS tools to ensure deliverables such as timelines,budget and resources are effectively met
- Facilitate cross-functional and national collaboration to ensure alignment
**Strategy and Leadership Support**
- Support the Customer Delivery Optimization function for the organization to ensure LifeLabs has established short, medium,and long-term plans to optimize our footprint and maximize revenue.
- Facilitate the strategic planning for ELT, provide strategic alignment to Finance and PMO for annual business planning
- Lead a year-round program of strategic planning activities, spanning top-priority future growth themes, capital allocations, investment mix, and business resilience
- Design of discussion agenda, activities, and prepare impactful communication materials that inspire creativity, collaboration, and discussion at senior executive forums
- Own the storyline and production of Board-ready communication materials and reports
- Ensure plans are implemented in accordance with timeline and financial expectations and that any issues, challenges or deviations are escalated for resolution in a timely manner
