The Quality Coordinator for our ESAP project (Energy Services Acquisition Program) is in Ottawa and typically reports directly to the Quality Control/Quality Assurance Manager. The Quality Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, inspecting, controlling, and evaluating the quality of documentation required on the project with occasional site inspections.

**Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following**:

- Implement quality assurance standards and procedures.
- Recording and report on quality data
- Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems.
- Review Material Receiving Reports
- Coordinate Non-Destructive Examination services and requests.
- Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities.
- Investigate non-conformance issues.
- Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
- Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers.
- Document management systems.
- Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.

**EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or college diploma in engineering technology is recommended.
- Certifications an advantage including Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate

**WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**
- 2-3 years of Quality Control & Quality Assurance experience in the Industrial Construction industry

**SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS**
- Previous experience in a quality role
- Organization and time management
- Knowledge of BIM360 would be an asset.
- Valid drivers' license
- Ability to obtain Government security clearance.
