Masonry Subcontractor

Overview:
We are seeking experienced Subcontractors to join our team. As a Subcontractor, you will be responsible for performing various masonry and renovation/restoration tasks. This is a contract-based position where you will work on a project-by-project basis.

**Responsibilities**:

- Execute masonry work, including building and restoring structures according to specifications and local by-laws
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints and photos to ensure accurate construction
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to perform tasks efficiently and effectively
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area

**Skills**:

- Proficient in masonry techniques, including the ability to build and restore structures
- Knowledge of blueprint reading to accurately follow construction plans
- Able to erect and dissemble scaffolding to access chimneys, or higher area of homes in order to work proficiently and safely.
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in construction projects
- Strong attention to detail and ability to execute tasks according to specifications

**Requirements**:

- Registered Corporation
- Reliable crew
- Active WSIB number
- Liability insurance up to 2 million dollars
- Non-decaled truck
- Working at Heights
- WHMIS
- First Aid and Crp level C

Please note that this is a subcontractor position, meaning you will be responsible for providing your own tools, equipment, and transportation.

**Job Type**: Freelance

**Salary**: Up to $1.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 1 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- masonry: 8 years (preferred)
