Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Content Marketing Specialist will draw on proven content writing experience to identify, create and distribute content through CDW marketing channels to incite action from stakeholders in long form blog posts, white papers, articles and ebooks as well as supporting copywriting across a variety of channels.

**What you'll do**:

- Leverage SEO best practices while creating optimized copy for partner blogs, webpages and other marketing collateral supporting lead generation through multiple channels. This will be accomplished through reviewing, analyzing and adapting copy for search engine optimization, researching and identifying ranking keywords to drive valuable traffic, writing powerful calls-to-action to convert visitors, working with internal SMEs and other stakeholders to build content and buyer persona awareness.
- Review, proofread, edit and adapt copy to ensure consistency and respect of brand and writing style guidelines. In collaboration with the corporate communications team, develop content strategies and disseminate consistent brand messaging through all partner campaigns and programs.
- Provide marketing and communication support as required

**What you need to succeed**:
**Must-have**:

- Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism or equivalent
- 3+ years of Journalism, Copywriting, Marketing or Communications experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the company including Executive and Senior Leadership
- Demonstrated ability to write and create multichannel content (long-form, blogs, web, print, digital); please provide portfolio upon request
- Experience working cross-departmentally to collect and communicate information through various mediums with a proven track record in developing and maintaining strategic relationships
- Proven record of successful project management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and conduct primary research
- Ability to multitask and be adaptable in a fast-changing environment

**Nice-to-have**:

- Previous experience as a blogger or brand journalist, especially in the technology industry.
