**Responsibilities**:

- Non-Union Position
- Reports to Warehouse manager
- Responsible for assisting in supervision of employees
- Follows all company policies and industry regulations
- Promote and monitor safety practices of all employees
- Works within the operations team to achieve goals and suggests operational improvements.
- Co-ordinates work with Warehouse Manager, Lead Hands, Yard Hostler’s, Deck Division, Dispatch and Billing Staff.
- Ensures proper procedures are followed by monitoring and motivating employee’s to complete assigned task.
- Promotes re-weight program and ensures required paperwork is accurate.
- Encourages and practices good housekeeping.
- Monitors company equipment, ensures proper use and promotes safe work practices
- Assists in the reduction of clams by demonstrating proper freight handling and loading procedures
- Works to eliminate misdirects though spot checks for freight and BOL
- Any and all other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:
