Captain Server

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff in the restaurant or food service area to ensure efficient operations.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Assist in training new employees on food handling, preparation techniques, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock.
- Foster a positive work environment by motivating team members and promoting teamwork.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in hospitality or food service roles, with a strong understanding of restaurant operations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
- Knowledge of bartending practices is a plus; familiarity with beverage service is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in food preparation and safety practices.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Certification in food safety or handling and smart serve is mandatory.
- Handle Payments: Process guest payments, ensure accurate billing.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.04 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
