Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. This is a Part time/full-time position with competitive pay.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for children
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in children
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational program
- Maintain accurate records of each child's attendance, behavior, and development
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary material and Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits - Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, Guardian, or supervisor

Qualifications:

- Completion of a two
- to four-year college program in early childhood education or a bachelor's degree in child development -Licensing or certification is required
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational skills to effectively manage classroom activities and materials
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Special education experience and Valid first
- Aid and CPR certificate is a plus
- Proficiency in computer operation for record keeping purposes
- Leadership skills to effectively guide and support assistant teachers

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- London, ON N6G 2V9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
