We’re looking for our next Mortgage Servicing Specialist. Could it be you?
Mortgage Administration is the management of mortgages once they have closed at a law firm until they discharge; we are responsible for three specific areas to service the mortgage while supporting our front-facing client servicing team.

Our Administration Department consists of three teams; Discharges, Insurance & Property Taxes. Each of our team members are Mortgage Servicing Specialists, who are primarily on one of the three above teams with opportunities to crosstrain.

What’s it like working as a Mortgage Servicing Specialist at Community Trust Company?
You will be responsible for maintaining our prompt and efficient turnaround times with ensuring that law firms have received their requested discharge statements, Borrower's property tax accounts are in good standing and work with insurers to ensure that homeowners policies are in good standing.

**In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Accurately creating discharge statements and sending the statements to law firms
- Posting payout proceeds
- Creating case communication with our Service Layer until cases are resolved
- Ensuring our Borrower paid tax accounts are in good standing
- Ensuring payment remittances are prepared promptly and notify Municipalities upon remittance
- Working with Insurers to obtain up to date insurance policies upon cancelation and expiration notification
- Reporting on loans with lapsed insurance policies

- Have a minimum of 1 year related experience
- Have Post-Secondary Education (preferred)
- Demonstrate effective organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrate good interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Have solid written and verbal business communication skills
- Have strong analytical skills
- Are detail oriented with an acute attention to accuracy
- Are capable of handling multiple tasks and meeting stringent deadlines
- Are tactful, diplomatic and politely persistent
- Are results-oriented
- Are self-motivated, confident and capable of working both independently and in a team environment.
- Bring a positive, can-do attitude to our organization, using creative solutions to solve problems
- Establish and build on healthy working relationships with your team and peers
- Work well in a dynamic and fast paced environment with the ability to navigate through organizational change
