**Job description**

**MULTI DISCIPLINARY CARPENTER**

You are responsible to install, modify, repair, maintain and service architectural & structural framing, millwork and trim, paint & finishes, read and interpret blueprints, schematics and diagrams, and comply with all current Ontario building codes.

Compensation:

- $50K-60K per year (Full-time employment)
- 2 weeks vacation and 3 sick days for the year
- Birthday off
- Extended benefits after 3 months of work

**Qualifications**:

- Must be competent in reading blueprints
- Must be able to understand architectural concepts.
- Must have deep knowledge of construction methods.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Carpentry trade
- Must have a Basic Tool Set: Drill & Driver, Hand Tools.
- Valid G license with a clean driver abstract.
- Residential experience is required.
- Maintains a neat and presentable appearance at all times.
- Building foundations, installing floor beams, laying sub-flooring and installing walls and roofing systems
- Fitting and installing trim, doors, stairs, molding and hardware
- Measuring, cutting and joining materials made of wood or wood substitutes
- Repairing and renovating wooden structures
- Preparing cost estimates for clients
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and sketches

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $36.00-$43.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
