**Job Summary**:
**HR Manager**
- **The Human Resource Manager will lead and direct routine functions of the Human Resources department including full-cycle recruitment, employee relations, company policies and practices, and health and safety.**_
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, forecasting hiring needs, particularly at peak seasons; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientation, training, and exit interviews. Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, and motivation of human capital.
- Ensure legal compliance through human resource management.
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
- Report to owners and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Provides support and guidance to management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
- Good knowledge of provincial labor legislation and employment standards in each province and territory within Canada as ContactPoint 360 has the employees in different provinces.
- Manage HR staff.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Proven working experience as an HR manager, with a minimum of three years of human resource management experience.
- Experience in a privately owned business is an asset.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Thorough knowledge of Ontario labour and employment-related legislation
