This position is responsible to minister to the congregation by providing visionary, catalytic and pastoral leadership and coaching of leaders toward creating disciple-making environments in Beulah Community life, and by providing visionary oversight and leadership of the assimilation process for adults into the life of the congregation. This position will identify, equip and develop leaders who can develop reproducing disciples through the framework of Beulah's Practices (Gather, Grow, Give, Go Together) and Leadership Pathway, with focused energy on Beulah Communities.

**Position Type**:Permanent, 30hrs/wk

**Location**: West Campus, 17504-98a Ave NW, Edmonton, AB

**In this role you will**:
West Campus Beulah Communities Champion, and Disciple-Making mobilization teammate
- With Community & Care team, champion the vision and strategy of disciple-making, through community life.
- With Community & Care team maintain and adapt best practices of disciple-making in community.
- Vision, oversee, recruit and train leaders, coach and strengthen community life in Beulah Communities. Catalyze the creation of new Communities and facilitate multiplication.
- Develop and improve training and coaching content and systems.
- Vet resources and resource leaders. Lead planning and implementation of global disciple-making initiatives.
- Influence the congregation into the Practices, with focus on Beulah Communities events.
- Monitor ministry health and fruitfulness through team analysis and reporting.

Connection Strategy (Assimilation) Champion
- With the Connection and Impact Team maintain best practices in assimilation, moving people from First, to Next, to Ongoing Steps (the Practices).
- Oversee the assimilation strategy on all campuses. Some, but limited on-campus presence on weekends.
- Ensure Online and Campus Next Steps messaging is clear, current, and focused on Ongoing steps.

General Pastoral Duties
- Provide pastoral care, perform weddings, baptisms, funerals and administering sacraments as required.
- Serve as a visible and accessible leadership presence at weekend services and other community gatherings.
- Provide scheduled POD (Pastor on Duty) support. Includes spiritual direction and assessing immediate needs.
- Develop and maintain assigned ministry plans and budgets.

**What you will need to thrive in this role**:

- 5 to 10 years’ experience in ministry, combined volunteer leadership and ministry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
- Able to be fully licensed with the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination in Canada.
- Primary spiritual gift: Leadership.
- Passion and ability to shape culture and practice in Community life that engages people far from Jesus, and forms people who know Him to become disciple-makers, through Beulah’s Practices.
- Excels in inspiring leaders, bringing enthusiasm for a shared vision.
- Solid understanding of disciple-making in current Canadian culture.
- Team player and team builder. Highly relational and able to coach in an Eph. 4:12 ministry environment.
- Strong communicator and public speaker of adult learning in small, mid-size group or workshop setting.
- Demonstrated adaptability (eg. changing strategies and methods).
- Entrepreneurial, with demonstrated ability to develop and implement projects.
- Able to work in a large, multi-staff setting.
- Able to use standard computer office products.
