**Position Description**:
Temporary Assignment - approximately 52 weeks
**Level Definition**
Administers clinical research studies. Typical duties may include: study participant recruitment; participant enrollment and data collection; administration of neurostimulation and collection of non-invasive biomarkers (e.g., electroencephalogram, heart rate variability); REB submissions; project status reporting and manage study documentation.
**Typical Duties**
- Identifies potential study participants and develop recruitment plan
- Conducts telephone booking of study participant for their research study visit appt
- Ensure essential study documents are complete prior to participant enrollment
- Carries out all study visits according to protocol
- Follows instruction to maintain documentation, records and study-related hardware/equipment for the study
- Participate in team meetings and may present simple reports of study status
- Maintain tracking logs for the study: enrollment; REB submissions; participant compensations; supplies/equipment logs, etc
- Facilitate project weekly meetings and present study update
- Prepare and submit project related REB submissions
- Delivery of neurostimulation and collection of non-invasive biomarkers
- Ensure patient safety and ethics are followed
- Ensure that the relevant research methodology is applied and all research material is handled in accordance with established protocols, policies, and procedures
- Work closely with study PIs and Co-Is
- Participate in writing publication, conduct literature searches
- Develop presentations and present information and training sessions to project personnel and project stakeholders
- Train new study team member on study protocol
- Present at meetings, seminars, and conferences
- Keep project stakeholders informed of project progress through regular reports and newsletters
**Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 years experience in clinical research
- Master's degree in health-related discipline
