Under the direction of the Logistics Supervisor, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for executing day to day transportation activities ensuring the delivery demands and deadlines are met for both inbound and outbound shipments. The Logistics Coordinator will interact with supply chain partners (e.g. product suppliers, carriers) on a transactional basis to coordinate the movement of product as per the parameters defined in the contract of sale.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Schedule both inbound and outbound pickups with freight partners including completion of all documentation when required
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of required transportation documentation
- Address and resolve issues related to customs brokers, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely clearance of shipments.
- Liaise with the freight companies, shippers and warehouse staff
- Track and trace critical shipments
- Support and inform internal departments with most accurate ETA when required
- Proactively communicate potential delays and service disruptions to the appropriate team members.
- Submit damage claims with freight partners
- Provide internal departments with freight spot quotes upon request
- Coordinate and follow up with white glove deliveries as per customer requirement to ensure a high level of service and satisfaction.
- Understanding what type of transportation services to use and to assign appropriately
- Gather and manage information related to shipment dimensions and other pertinent information to ensure most accurate shipping cost
- Address and resolve issues related to customs brokers, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely clearance of shipments.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Advanced understanding for all modes of transportation
- Proficient knowledge of export/import documentation & Incoterms
- Problem resolution skills, detail-oriented, high level of multi-tasking skills are a must
- Customer service mindset and ability to manage all stages of the shipping process
- Superior knowledge of the Logistics industry and the key players within the industry nationally and globally.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- 3+ years working experience in logistics environment; experience in Healthcare industry preferred
- Strong proficiency with MS Office
- TMS experience required
- Self-motivated, positive attitude and ambitious

**This position requires physical presence in the office five days per week with a standard work schedule of Monday to Friday, from 9:00am to 5:00pm**

Salary Range: $50-53K annually
