We are currently looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our team for a maternity leave coverage. The accounting clerk deals with accounts payable/receivable and inputs/reviews monthly accounting data for our dealerships according to established procedures.
**Job Duties**:
- Daily bank deposit
- Reconciliation of bank accounts and inter-company accounts
- Reconciliation and maintenance of various GL accounts; identifying, resolving and correcting discrepancies and errors
- Preparation of Government remittances and filings
- Maintenance of various financial schedules and sub-ledgers
- Preparation and posting of manual journal entries
- Assisting with monthly and yearly close as required
- Identifying continuous improvement opportunities and collaborating to implement solutions
- Other duties as required
**Requirements**:
- Post-secondary diploma in accounting
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, and oral interaction)
