Catholic Social Services is currently recruiting for a full time, contract (40 hours/week) Program Coordinator in our Red Deer Immigration and Settlement office.

This is a contact secondment position that ends on March 31, 2024.

**Job Summary**:
As a Program Coordinator, you will create, enhance and maintain programs that support new immigrants and refugees and their transition into life in Canada. Specifically, you will help design, deliver and refine the Case Management program. You have strong assessment skills and possess the ability to deliver information in the manner that the client understands.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Identifying service gaps and cultivating creative solutions to meet those needs
- Coordinating program activities
- Facilitate and attend meetings
- Facilitate and conduct needs assessments
- Working with clients and Case Management counselors one-to-one to help them troubleshoot challenges
- Developing and maintaining partnerships with other services and agencies to harness available community resources
- Building and maintaining relationships and collaboration with other programs
- Prepare and maintain database documentation
- Coordinate a client centered approach to Case management
- Support Case Management counselors
- Write reports

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Fluency in English
- Related Degree/Diploma in Human Services or equivalent
- 2 years of experience working with newcomers to Canada
- Strong computer skills
