EZRA Maple Ridge (EMR) has been operating a comprehensive management program for international students in collaboration with Maple Ridge School District 42 since 2007. We offer customized after-school classes to help improve students' grades according to the BC curriculum and assist with college admissions management and homestay arrangements. We strive to facilitate successful student study abroad experiences by conducting various tasks.
- We are currently hiring:

- Grade 8 -12 Science & Mathematics Teachers
- Grade 8 -12 English Teachers
- Minimum Qualifications:

- Proven experience in teaching English as a second language or tutoring English
- Must know English grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation well
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Degree in English, Education, or a related field
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent, PLUS a minimum of 30 academic post-secondary credits
- No criminal convictions, no adult criminal charges pending
- Able to portray professionalism all the time
- Able to speak English fluently
- Posses relevant experiences
- Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Disciplines (++ Preferred)
- Experience with students from grades 8 - 12 in a teaching environment (+ Preferred)
- TESL Certificate (preferred)
- Responsibilities:

- Design and deliver effective English language lessons tailored to individual student needs
- Assess students' language proficiency and develop personalized learning plans
- Assist students in developing strong language skills, including grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation
- Provide guidance and support in reading comprehension and written expression
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with other tutors and staff to ensure student success
- Working Hours
- Mon to Fri: 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm
- Sat: 10:30 AM - 1:50 PM(shifts are neotiable)
- Work Location: In Person
