- Firehouse Subs is not your ordinary sub shop. Our stores are full of hard-working, fun-loving people with a genuine drive for success. The GM (Restaurant Manager) must manage all employees, and ensure all guests expectations are exceeded during their visit._

Some of your duties will include:

- Inventory Management
- Maintain daily prep routines (including par levels)
- Positive attitude that promotes teamwork within restaurant
- Prepare schedules and ensure restaurant is properly staffed
- Responsible for controllable costs: Food and Labour
- Ensure operational and occupational health and safety standards are followed.
- To maintain cleaning routines
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications and Skills**
- 2 years restaurant management experience
- 1-2 years supervisor role in a QSR type of environment would be an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
- Leadership skills - able to direct, coach, and supervise a team
- Customer service skills - able to exceed guest expectations.
- A positive and team-oriented attitude.
- Work with mínimal supervision and have a strong initiative.
- Perform efficiently during high volume peak periods.
- Must be able to work flexible hours.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Has the hospitality gene
- A driver's license and access to a vehicle is an asset.
- Required to have safe food handlers certificate _**within first 3 months of job (if you don't have we will reimburse)**_
- Must have first aid certificate within 3 months of employment _**(within first 3 months...we will reimburse)**_
