What you'll do- Accountable for manging the successful delivery of multiple initiatives including scope definition, recommended solution and management of the implementation.- Will simultaneously manage several initiatives varying in complexity and duration.- Manage/supervise ongoing projects, providing the team with support need to make decisions, remove obstacles, meet deadlines and deliver a successful end result.- Evaluate the benefits of each change, associated costs, it’s alignment with the overall strategic roadmap and ultimately prepare and present the business case for the change- Lead a cross functional team of stakeholders (Underwriting, Pricing, Broker Distribution, Systems etc) throughout the lifecycle of the initiative.- Project manage each initiative ensuring plans are tracked, financials are in line with forecasted expenditures and projects are resourced adequately to achieve success.- Engage appropriate teams (Learning & Development, Communications, Change Management) to ensure the successful adoption of the initiative.- Conduct post implementation reviews to assess whether benefits have been achieved. Recommend and implement remediation plans where required.- Provide regular reporting of progress to business stakeholders, including identification of risks and mitigation plans.

What you'll bring- Undergraduate degree (graduate degree preferred) in business, marketing or other related field OR equivalent experience preferred.- Project management certification / agile certification- Six Sigma/Business Process Improvement certifications- Strong understanding of change management standard processes and project management methodologies.- Strong understanding and experience in Consultative approach and critical thinking to complex problems.- Experience in participating on initiatives that translate strategic visions and business strategies into tangible plans and results- Solid understanding of the commercial insurance market, competitive analysis, product positioning and advanced understanding of product development models.- Solid understanding of Aviva internal systems and technology.- Strong external network and understanding of the sales and underwriting processes.- Strong people management and leadership skills - influencing, negotiating, coaching, mentoring, prioritizing, directing, performance management, development - for both team members and cross-functional stakeholders- Business and financial acumen required to execute project solutions aligned to Aviva strategy and Commercial Business goals and objectives.-
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills- Positive impact and influence; able to develop and deliver convincing presentations to and maintain sound relationships with key stakeholders.- Self-starter, comfortable in balancing priorities in a fast-paced environment and taking care of ambiguity.
