Computer Vision and Signal Processing Data Scientist

Initial 2-3 month engagement (Contract) can be converted to full-time
This is a Hybrid role, Downtown and Mississauga Location
**Position Overview**: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
**Algorithm Development**: Design, develop, and implement computer vision and signal processing algorithms to analyze and interpret large-scale image and signal datasets.
**Data Analysis**: Collect, preprocess, and analyze data from various sources, including cameras, sensors, and IoT devices, to extract valuable insights and patterns.
**Model Development**: Build and optimize machine learning models for object detection, image classification, feature extraction, and signal processing tasks.
**Documentation**: Prepare detailed documentation, including algorithms, methodologies, and code, to ensure knowledge sharing and reproducibility.
**Testing and Validation**: Conduct thorough testing and validation of developed models and algorithms to ensure accuracy, robustness, and real-world applicability.
**Continuous Improvement**: Continuously optimize and refine existing algorithms and processes to improve system performance and efficiency.
**Qualifications**:A Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a strong focus on computer vision, image processing, and signal processing.Proven experience in developing computer vision and signal processing algorithms, including deep learning techniques.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or C++.Strong knowledge of machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).Familiarity with image and signal processing tools and libraries (e.g., OpenCV, SciPy).Experience with hardware acceleration (e.g., GPUs, TPUs) is a plus.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
