We provide residential & commercial glass and aluminum products to contractors, developers, building owners and retail clients on Vancouver Island. **Job description**

**Terms**:Permanent, Full-time. Worksites are located throughout the Nanaimo and surrounding areas so a vehicle to get to various project locations or access to transit a must.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- General site or shop clean up
- Working with hand and power tools
- Loading and unloading materials
- Assisting in install of glass and sealed units into various glazing systems
- Assisting in commercial fronts and curtain wall installation
- Assisting in replacing and repairing glass, windows, doors, and specialty products
- Assisting in installation of aluminum frameworks as required
- Other duties as required by supervisor

**Qualifications**:

- Dedication to safety is a must
- Must be able to lift 80-90 pounds
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, as well as bending, crouching, and kneeling
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Construction experience an asset
- Drivers licence an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
