**Position Summary**

Chrysalis is a registered non-profit organization that offers personalized services designed to meet the needs of people with disabilities while providing meaningful opportunities for growth and community inclusion.

Reporting directly to the Human Resources Administrator, the Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for promoting and advancing Chrysalis culture by demonstrating corporate values on a daily basis and during interactions with others. The Human Resources Assistant will also provide general HR support to the HR department.

**Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities**
- Answer routine inquiries about HR policies, programs, and procedures or forwards to the appropriate internal personnel
- Enter and maintain employee information in the HRIS
- Organize personnel records physically and electronically in accordance with established procedures to ensure timely access to information
- Support the HR Department on assigned projects and day-to-day issues
- Liaise with Payroll & Benefits on all employee information
- Support the performance and talent management processes, including performance review administration and onboarding and exit survey management
- Support ongoing department programs and events
- Compose written and electronic correspondence
- Collect, summarize and assemble information as directed
- Prepare charts, graphs, and tables for presentations and reports
- Remain current on HR practices, policies, procedures and legislation requirements
- Support department team members as required

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- 1-3 years experience in a customer service or administration role
- Experience in human resources considered an asset
- Experience working with an HRIS is an asset
- Post-secondary education in human resources is preferred
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Stellar customer service orientation
- Strong organizational and critical-thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations and multiple tasks in a professional, positive, and constructive manner
- Aptitude for numbers with fast and accurate data entry skills
- Attention to detail
- Clearance from a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search
- Class 5 Driver’s License
