Social Media Intern

We are looking for a Social Media Intern to come work Saturday's or Sunday's for 8 hours, on a schedule that will change weekly (either Saturday or Sunday depending on what is going on that weekend). We are a not-for-profit basketball organization who is looking to expand our marketing efforts by bringing on a social media intern.

We are looking to bring on a student or entry-level employee who is interested in adding to their portfolio and gaining experience as a social media manager.

Responsibilities will include:

- Creating graphics for the company such as promotional posts and announcements.
- Create social media strategy to maximize engagement
- Increasing followers organically
- Take photos and videos of our weekend competitions to capture what we do as an organization.
- Familiarity with social media platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook

A stipend will be given to the social media intern at the end of each 12-week session.

We are looking for motivated, energetic individuals, who love basketball & are looking to break into the social media field as a career.

This will be a 1-person team, so it will be a great opportunity for you to flex your creative muscles and show the world your talents online

Assets, but not requirements include:

- Experience on Social Media
- Owning your own filming device (iPhone, Android, or Camera)
- Having your own vehicle

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 6-8 per week
