**Warehouse Supervisor Job Description**

At the heart of our warehouse, there’s a master conductor who’s orchestrating the seamless flow of goods and tools. That's where our Warehouse Supervisor steps in - ensuring every aspect of our warehouse's rhythm, from ordering to the staging of goods for jobs, is finely tuned for success. With a mix of organizational prowess, leadership finesse, and communication wizardry, they keep our warehouse operations humming along like a well-oiled machine, maintaining the perfect tempo for peak efficiency.

**Who You Are**

**A Happy and Positive Person**: The single most important trait of any person is their attitude. A positive attitude with an ability to stay positive and productive through dynamic (and sometimes frustrating) situations is absolutely necessary and required of a warehouse supervisor.

**A Fantastic Communicator**: Communication is a key and important requirement for a successful warehouse supervisor. While interacting with office personnel, technicians, and vendors, the ability to communicate effectively is one of the most basic and important skills a Warehouse Supervisor can have.

**A Master of Organization**:You can juggle multiple tasks and priorities with ease while maintaining attention to detail. You enjoy being tidy and seeing everything organized and in its special place.

**Highly Adaptable**: Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands, able to improvise when necessary to keep operations running smoothly.

**What You’ll Do**

**Facilitate Operations**: Assume responsibility for orchestrating the warehouse's rhythm, ensuring seamless coordination of goods and tools from procurement to job staging.

**Optimize Efficiency**:Collaborate with the Manager of Service Operations to employ your organizational expertise in refining workflows and simplifying processes within the warehouse.

**Safety Oversight**: Regularly inspect the warehouse, forklifts, and tools, enforcing safety protocols to safeguard our team and maintain operational smoothness.

**Procurement Management**: Receive and fulfill order requests from various departments, coordinating with suppliers to procure necessary materials and supplies.

**Monitor Order Progress**: Maintain constant awareness of the status of ordered products to provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders.

**Order Preparation**: Select materials for orders and categorize them by job numbers, ensuring efficient order staging.

**Administrative Tasks**:Maintain accurate records by appropriately filing paperwork and updating our Service Trade program with order statuses.

**Inventory Management**: Utilize a forklift to replenish shelves with product stock, ensuring sufficient availability.

**Shipping and Receiving**: Utilize our designated shipping methods and trusted vendors to ship a variety of items. Upon receiving shipments, record them in our inventory system and organize stock/items in their designated locations.

**Tool and Material Control**: Manage the tool crib by issuing and tracking tools and materials to staff as needed.

**Facility Maintenance**: Stay vigilant of weather conditions and perform necessary maintenance tasks such as shoveling, sanding, sweeping, or mopping to uphold cleanliness and prevent hazards. Additionally, assist the Safety Manager with safety-related maintenance requests.

**Supervision**: Supervise a warehouse assistant and ensure they are contributing to the safe and productive running of the warehouse.
