**Job duties include**:
The Mixing/Recycling Operator is responsible for maintaining control of the mixing process through accurate weighing and charging of raw materials, as well as ensuring quality standards through precise compound flow. The role prepares and maintains the flow of materials to the extrusion department by recycling resins back into the process.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Review production batch sheets to verify correct raw material input amounts
- Input raw materials utilizing both manual and automated systems
- Operate automated mixing equipment through use of pod panels & touch screens
- Conduct detailed and efficient cleaning of all process equipment
- Perform periodic preventative maintenance on processing equipment
- Shredding/grinding of product to put regrind back into process

**Education and Work Experience**:

- GED or High School Diploma
- Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, preferably in a batch mixing capacity
- Experience/Certification of Counterbalance Forklift

**Knowledge & Skills**:

- Strong verbal communication
- Ability to read and operate scale systems, touch screens, pod panels
- Experience utilizing hand tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work cohesively in a team based environment
- Able to safely handle chemicals
- Able to safely operator forklift
- Excellent time management skills and organizational skills
- Strong mechanical skills

**Physical Demands**:

- Stand for up to 12 hours per day
- Repetitive lifting up to 50 pounds
- Position may require kneeling, bending, and or stretching

**Work Environment**:

- Variable environmental conditions within the plant, such as temperature instability, atmospheric conditions including odours, dusts, vapors and noise

**Shifts (Permanent, Full Time position)**

12 hr continental day/night shift, with 4-week turnaround

Averaging agreements in place

84 hrs biweekly with opportunity for OT

**Rate of pay;**

Depending on knowledge, skills, abilities, experiences both work and educational the rate starts at $18.74 - $22.00/hour.
