**Initially to cover an 18-month leave, upon completion, this role would continue as a permanent part of our Human Resources team.**

Kindred Home Care provides short and long term home support services, and respite care to individuals and families in the areas of personal care, activities of daily living, companionship, medication reminders, end of life care and home management. We are a company with an innovative, energetic, forward-looking team.

In a role as a Human Resources Generalist you will play a supporting role to members of the broader Kindred Home Care Team. Working primarily from home you will largely support our recruitment requirements and various Human Resource needs across the company.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Support recruitment needs of the business
- Support administrative compliance and paperwork needs
- Support and provide capacity for payroll functions of the business
- Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Identify issues, recommend solutions, and assist in the implementation of solutions
- Participate in the communication and delivery of Employee Engagement Initiatives
- Social Media Engagement, Planning, and Ownership

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- 2-5 years of experience in a Human Resources role
- Familiarity of recruiting processes and systems
- Familiarity with labour laws, regulations and safety protocols
- Experience supporting payroll functions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication and problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work from home with mínimal supervision
- Experience with Salesforce would be considered an asset
- Fluency in French would be considered an asset
- Positive, flexible, and Reliable
