Learning Design Specialist

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a **Learning Design Specialist** on a temporary (up to 12 months) basis within our People and Culture team. This position is a remote opportunity and can be based across Western Canada.

**What you’ll do**:
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and our Employee Experience, Communities of Expertise to develop high quality learning experiences that meet the needs of our learners.
- Conduct formal needs assessments, define learning objectives, and design training using instructional design and adult learning principles.
- Leverage various learning design methodologies to develop and maintain effective and sustainable training programs (includes online, in classroom, virtual/instructor led training and blended learning techniques) to meet the needs of the business.
- Coordinate, administer evaluate training programs to identify improvement opportunities related to the training program design.
- Support the HR Specialist, Learning and Development in the design and development of training courses and interactive learning solutions for various business units across the CRS. The development work will include using a variety of software such as Camtasia, Vyond, Articulate 360, etc.

You will work closely with the Learning and Development team and will report to the HR Specialist, Learning and Development. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, community and support.

**Who you are**:
You are looking for a career in Human Resources & Training and:
- Have a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant HR experience along with a solid understanding of adult learning principles. (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
- Have a bachelor’s degree with preference for HR.
- You’re honest and trustworthy, are results oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
- You believe in collaboration, building relationships and value the perspectives of others.
