Andian Technologies is a railroad geometry inspection technology company, and is currently seeking an office/manufacturing assistant to join our team in Burnaby, BC. This is a hands-on position providing assistance to our engineering/manufacturing teams and also include day-to-day office tasks. You will be exposed to multiple academic disciplines and training will be provided for this excellent learning opportunity.

The various duties and responsibilities could include but are not limited to:

- General reception/assistant duties
- Support of engineering staff
- Light manufacturing and assembly work
- Customer service and support
- Shipping/receiving and logistics

Education ranging from high school diploma to post-secondary diploma/certificate acceptable. Long term co-op students will also be considered.

**Skills and Experience Preferred**:

- Education ranging from high school diploma to post -secondary diploma.
- Mechanical/computer/electrical aptitude or courses.
- Familiarity with standard hand power tools.
- Experience working in mechanical and electrical assembly.
- Class 5/7 driver's license. Ability to drive trucks (F350).
- Shipping and handling experience.
- Experience with international shipping to the USA and customs clearance.
- Customer service experience.
- Experience managing a website.
- Experience with social media platforms and tools.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, concise documentation.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to learn quickly and work independently and within a team.
