- Plan and implement educational and recreational activities for children
- Provide guidance and support to youth in their personal and academic development
- Assist with homework and educational enrichment activities
- Foster positive relationships with youth and promote social-emotional growth
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants

- Previous experience working with children in a similar role
- Ability to effectively communicate and engage with youth of various ages
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to establish rapport with youth
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive environment for all participants

As a Youth Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young individuals. Your role will involve providing guidance, support, and educational opportunities to help them thrive. Excellent understanding of cultural differences and how they impact wellness approaches for children and youth;
Ensures cultural support services are delivery with excellence and transparency in accordance with our agency’s philosophies, procedures, guidelines, protocols and Provincial legislation regulations and standards.

**Salary**: $21.00-$22.52 per hour
