The Accounts Payable and Administrative Assistant is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing administrative support to ensure efficient operations within the company.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Accounts Payable Duties**:

- Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and process payments, including checks and electronic transfers.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain vendor files and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Monitor and manage company expenditures, including employee expenses and petty cash.
- Prepare reports on accounts payable activities and financial status.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Provide administrative support to the finance department and other departments as needed.
- Organize and maintain financial records, including invoices, receipts, and other documentation.
- Handle correspondence with vendors and service providers regarding billing and payments.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
- Proficiency in Sage 300 and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

**Education and Experience**:

- College diploma or equivalent in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
- 3 years experience in accounts payable or a similar role is highly desirable.

This is an in-office position hours of work are 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
