**Since 1974 Starling Pools & Spa has been providing the Durham Region with superior customer service in pool and spa sales and service.**

The Assistant Manager in training is responsible for providing our customers with exceptional service in all purchases with customers seeking pool and/or spa services. The individual will be trained in water chemistry and BioGuard chemicals to accurately perform water testing using the in-store water lab and recommend the appropriate chemicals and treatment to each customer. Will be trained to assist in training of seasonal staff in pool/spa equipment, water chemistry and sales.

**Job duties include** Customer service at water lab, parts department, and cash desk; suggestive selling; maintaining store appearance; merchandising; stocking inventory; customer purchase carry out; service scheduling; weekly pool maintenance service.

Position available to start as seasonal with the potential for year-round employment and growth based on performance and business needs. Hours fluctuate and can be 35-44hrs/week.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour
