We are actively looking for a Technician - Accounts Payable to receive, follow up and pay invoices for the various related corporations of Ocean Group.

YOUR TYPICAL DAY
Reporting to the Supervisor of Accounts payable, you will have to:
Verify the accuracy of invoices issued;
Code and enter invoices into the accounting system;
Distribute supplier invoices to authorized individuals for approval;
Issue weekly and monthly disbursements;
Provide the Supervisor of Accounts Payable with the reasons for unpaid suppliers according to the payment terms;
Inform the Supervisor of Accounts Payable of all invoices not approved by the business units in order to make an allowance;
Analyze the accruals and age of supplier accounts.

OUR IDEAL COLLEAGUE

College diploma in accounting;
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience in a similar position;
Any combination of experience and academic background will be considered;

Good knowledge of French and English, both written and spoken;
Proficiency in Office Suite software with an advanced level for Excel;
Accounting experience in a multi-company and multi-currency environment;
Good work organization and ability to work under pressure;
Professionalism, tact and discretion;
Team player, versatile and autonomous;
Proactivity, flexibility and great capacity to adapt.
